چکیده
Nitrous oxide (N2O) is an environmental pollutant that has a significant greenhouse effect and contributes to the depletion of ozone layer. To address issues caused by N2O, direct catalytic decomposition N2O N2 O2 been demonstrated as one most efficient methods for its removal. Various metals, particularly noble including Rh, Ru, Pd, Pt, Au, Ir, have widely used investigated catalysts facilitate this transformation. Therefore, review aims provide overview advances in metal-based studied recent years. The comprehensive discussion includes influence multiple factors, such catalyst supports, preparation methods, additives, impurity gases (such O2, H2O, SO2, NO, CO2) on performance versatile catalysts. Furthermore, offers insights into future trends systems N2O.

Catalytic Decomposition of N2O over Cu–Zn/ZnAl2O4 Catalysts
The catalytic decomposition of N2O was investigated over Cu-Zn/ZnAl2O4 catalysts in the temperature range of 400–650 ◦C Catalytic samples have been prepared by wet impregnation method. Prepared catalysts were characterized using several techniques like BET surface area, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The Cu-Zn/ZnAl2O4 showed higher catalytic performance along w...

Because of growing environmental concerns and increasingly stringent regulations governing auto emissions, new more efficient exhaust catalysts are needed to reduce the amount of pollutants released from internal combustion engines. To accomplish this goal, the major pollutants in exhaust-CO, NO(x), and unburned hydrocarbons-need to be fully converted to CO(2), N(2), and H(2)O. Most exhaust cat...

Non-Noble Metal Oxide Catalysts for Methane Catalytic Combustion: Sonochemical Synthesis and Characterisation
The aim of this study was to obtain nanocrystalline mixed metal-oxide-ZrO₂ catalysts via a sonochemically-induced preparation method. The effect of a stabiliser's addition on the catalyst parameters was investigated by several characterisation methods including X-ray Diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption, X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with energy dispers...
متن کاملEffect of RhOx/CeO2 Calcination on Metal-Support Interaction and Catalytic Activity for N2O Decomposition
The effect of the calcination conditions on the catalytic activity for N2O decomposition of 2.5% RhOx/CeO2 catalysts has been investigated. Ramp and flash calcinations have been studied (starting calcinations at 25 or 250/350 °C, respectively) both for cerium nitrate and ceria-impregnated rhodium nitrate decomposition. The cerium nitrate calcination ramp has neither an effect on the physico-che...
